Hagan Looking for Local Support

Friday, October 6, 2006 RICHMOND, VA--The Matt Hagan Racing crew are just a stone's throw away from their hometown this weekend, competing in the TORCO Race Fuels NHRA Nationals in Richmond, Virginia.

"It's good to be so close to home," commented Matt Hagan. "It's easier on the crew and it gives us a little more time to get the car in shape."

Hagan is coming in to the NHRA Nationals sitting 8th in AMS Pro Modified points. "I'd love to gain some ground this weekend and put on a good show
here in my home state," said Hagan. "I hope I can give this Virginia crowd
something to cheer for."

Pro Mods take the lanes at 2:30 PM on Friday for their first qualifying run.
Qualifying continues on Saturday, and eliminations begin at 1:30 PM on Saturday.
