DSR SIGNS THREE-YEAR ASSOCIATE SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT WITH MATCO TOOLS

INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 20, 2006) - Don Schumacher confirmed today that Don Schumacher Racing has inked a three-year associate sponsorship agreement with Matco Tools to support all DSR teams through 2009.

Matco Tools had been a primary sponsor of a DSR Funny Car team in the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series and an associate sponsor on all DSR teams from 2001 through 2006. "We are pleased to maintain our longtime relationship with Matco Tools through this multi-year associate sponsorship agreement,"said Schumacher.

"To have our tools used and recommended by drag racing's premier technicians and crew chiefs speaks volumes. We look forward to winning many more races with DSR in the future."

Since joining DSR in 2001 as a primary sponsor on a DSR Funny Car through 2006, Matco Tools has earned two championship runner-up finishes and 13national-event wins with driver Whit Bazemore. In all, DSR drivers and riders have won a total of 74 national events since 2001. Matco Tools also earned three NHRA world championships as a DSR sponsor: two with Tony Schumacher in Top Fuel and one with Gary Scelzi in Funny Car. DSR's world-class hospitality team has also hosted over 30,000 Matco Tools customers and distributors in that time.
