"We understand how difficult the economy is nationwide so we don't take this decsison lightly.

Capitol Auto Group has chose to continue its marketing program with Rich Bailey and ProMotion Motorsports LLC. Even with an unpredictable economy, the Salem, Oregon based auto dealer has chose to reward Bailey's team for a great year in 2008 with the contract extension. Capitol Auto Group Racing is more than a sponsorship program, it's an advertising campaign which is how the race team presents itself with an aggressive race and display schedule along with distribution of professional quality promo cards, posters and t-shirts.

Team owner Rich Bailey is very happy with the dicision to continue the program. "We understand how difficult the economy is nationwide so we don't take this decsison lightly. We will continue to work very hard to achieve a good balance of both racing and community activities to ensure this is a sound business decision for Capitol. For example, in July we did two events in two states, four hours a part all in one day. We did a parade in Independence Oregon and then raced that same night in Yakima Washington. That's the kind of dedication we want to continue to provide this great company" Bailey said.

Next year will mark Bailey's ninth season representing Capitol Auto Group. Capitol sells Chevrolet, Cadillac, Honda, Toyota, Scion and Subaru vehicles. Bailey exhibition match races a blown alcohol dragster and competes at selected NHRA and Top Eliminator West events.
