RaceRedi Motorsports Dodge to Start Fifth on Sunday
MOHNTON, Pa. -- Justin Humphreys continued a string of good qualifying runs Saturday, registering a 6.639-second time at 208.07 mph to take the No. 5 starting spot for Sunday's Toyo Tires Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway.
"This is the most consistent race car I've had in my Pro Stock career," he said of the Allen and Roy Johnson-powered RaceRedi Motorsports Dodge. "Those were the best runs I've made from start to finish. We had no problems."
Humphreys added a 6.656-second time in the day's last session and admitted the team tried a different tune-up, "and it helped out."
His first-round opponent is Richie Stevens (12th, 6.653 at 206.61 mph).
