BARKLAGE RACING QUALIFIES NO. 1 AT O’REILLY SUPER CHEVY SHOW

MEMPHIS , Tenn. (April 19, 2008) – Zach Barklage, behind the wheel of his 2007 Pontiac GTO, took the No. 1 qualifying spot with a 3.95, 187 MPH at Memphis Motorsports Park in the Aeromotive Fuel Systems Nitro Coupe for Super Chevy Show.

“We are really getting things lined out,” said Barklage. “It’s nice to see some of our hard work finally pay off. The car is reacting just how we want, and is doing everything we need. We felt we could be a little behind for the start of the season, but things are coming together nicely. We think we finally have a base tune up for the new set up.”

Barklage went on to comment, “We hope to take our qualifying success and go rounds tomorrow. If we can keep the car running as well as it has been we have a good shot of winning our first Super Chevy Show of the year. Our plan is to manage our tune up, keep the car going down the track and take it one round at a time.”
