NAPA Auto Parts opens store on IHRA Midway

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (March 24, 2008) - NAPA Auto Parts, presenting sponsor of the Amalie Oil Texas Nationals (April 4-6), will expand its race presence when it opens shop on the IHRA midway for the upcoming national event. NAPA will be on the midway with a fan friendly display and they will also provide support to the professional and sportsman racers competing at the event. For racers who want to "Get the Good Stuff" - life just got a little easier.

Not only will NAPA have local representatives on hand to provide assorted supplies such as brake clean and wire ties, they will also order needed parts and in some cases provide same day delivery at the track for racers. San Antonio District Manager Steve Anderson is excited about the opportunity. "We've been involved with this race and Terry McMillen for a few years now. We see this as a natural step in the activation of our partnership with Terry and the IHRA."

San Antonio area fans can stop by any participating NAPA store to purchase Adult tickets at a $15.00 discount per ticket. Plus, Terry McMillen and his car will make a special guest appearance at two area San Antonio stores during race week (Rittman and Woodlawn stores). Fans attending the race will also be treated to a new feature at IHRA events this season. The Nitro Vision, a stadium-sized TV, will feature replays of the race during the weekend and special announcements from sponsors, including NAPA.
