BARKLAGE RACING HOPING TO SEW-UP POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP

Cody and Zach Barklage to Race Tulsa Super Chevy Show

TULSA, OK (October 11, 2007) – Cody and Zach Barklage are on a roll, and heading to Tulsa Raceway Park for the Super Chevy Show. Coming off a strong effort just last weekend in San Antonio , where Zach Barklage made a final round appearance, the team is striving to finish No. 1 and 2 in Aeromotive Nitro Coupe points.

“The top three in overall points is very close,” commented Cody Barklage. “We had some bad luck last weekend in San Antonio with our car, and damaged a lot of parts. But, we were able to maintain a small lead on Tony Williams. This weekend, we must go rounds and out-perform our competition. This weekend in Tulsa is crucial to our championship hunt.”

“Although my brother Cody had some problems, we were able to get to the final round,” said Zach Barklage. “We raced well all weekend last week, and need to duplicate the success this weekend in Tulsa . I was able to gain some valuable ground on the No. 2 spot, and we feel it’s an obtainable goal for us to finish No. 1 and 2. We just have to go out, race clean, and step-up our game. “

With this weekend being the first of the final two races in Aeromotive Fuel Systems Nitro Coupe, Super Chevy Show racing, the Barklage brothers know they must keep their focus on the job at hand. With the distinct possibility of a first and second place finish to 2007, Cody and Zach both must stay consistent and win rounds this weekend.
