Funny Car competitor Dale Creasy Jr. was hurt Sunday at Castrol Raceway.

The reverser sheared the studs in the can and spun.
The report is both his legs were broken by the lever. One leg has a compound fracture.
Sounds like the same deal that happened to Tom Hoover several years ago.

The reverser is one of the suspects. A coupler is also suspect. There was a large external dent in the titanium housing...
Dale will be in surgery today to repair a crushed left shin and the compound fracture. His right leg has some broken bones in the foot. He's a lucky guy.
