I have heard all kinds of numbers, but the NHRA guys I talked to could not confirm.
His car photo is on my web site. Another diesel wacko....

Scott
I have to ask why Bio-Diesel? I have heard some rumors of it being pretty waxy.

If you get GOOD biodiesel, it is better than petro. Virgin, not recycled, and meeting DIN specs, it works great.

I get it for free, as they sponsor the car. BUT... Real good B100 goes for about 2.60 a gallon.

Re: Hello and intro... Diesel Drag racing is growing
A buddy of mine has a crew cab Ford 4x4 diesel that scales out at just over 10,000 lbs. with the extra fuel tanks and massive bumpers. It's pretty hilarious to see it run 14.90 in the quarter with all of the smoke behind it. The sorry sucker running the Christmas tree is probably still trying to get himself clean!

I know you're into the Cummins but what about the new Duramax?

It does good. The rods go away at 650 HP and 5000 RPM, but not bad for a stock diesel. The Cummins are good for 1000 HP in stock form, but they do not rev as well due to a longer stroke.
