When a company is sponsoring a race team how much input does the sponsor have towards who the driver will be, what the paint jobs will be etc. or is it mostly the car owner(s)

Great question. I wager it varies by sponsor/team relationship. I just had a flashback to George Steinbrenner/Billy Martin newclippings....
