OK, for those of you who do not know me very well or who have not read my blogs on NHRA.com, I am the proud father of three fairly large puppies.

You see, Doreen and I do not have any traditional children (yet), but to help fill that void (for now) we do have three dogs that are quite a handfull.


These are my babies. The oldest is Blake (Pitbull/Boxer), next is Dakoda (Greyhound/Shepard)...

Okay, I've been up since 0430 this morning... guess 'old age' has set in. After hacking up a couple of furballs, scraping my chin, brushing my tooth... okay all 18 still left, went downstairs, brewed a pot of mud, opened a fresh pack of cancer sticks, looked in on the grandsons, ate a couple of brownies.... then came back upstairs to my 'office' and fired up Maxine, my 'puter.... checked my e-mail, then logged on to the 'Mater.

It dawned on me today, less than a month from now, I'll have been at my job 11 years. Longest I've stayed at any job my entire life. Thing is, I'm starting to get itchy feet. I picked up my eight year old daughter from school the other day and the first words out of her mouth was "Daddy, I prayed for John Force today." It took me by surprise, but after a second it made sense. She has a heart of gold, and she is a fan of John Force. My other two girls wanted an update on his condition. Hey Mater Bloggers, this is so great to have a blog on the mater. Thanks Shannon for making this happen.

I will do my best to stop by as often as I can and keep everyone up to date on our team and all the fun stuff we manage to get into when we're not racing.
