An NHRA membership will get you 3 days of the the Audio-cast, a year of National Dragster(2 weeks after the fact) Some discount coupons on car rentals and hotels, and a hat pin... and with a couple of bucks, a cup of coffee at the track...

Biggest problem with the audio-cast is it's just a live feed of the PA system at the track... and we can't SEE what's happening at the track... It would be nice if we got a separate play by play, just like a baseball...

Playing the Fan, but paying attention to what was going on around me all weekend...

First Off, it's a buck eighty round trip to VMP from here... about 8-1/2 gallons or $20 a day... and just a little over three hours drive time... Parking comes in 3 levels... 5 bucks for the mud bogg pit, and Friday started out looking like a washout at 8AM, 10 bucks, better, flatter location 5 minute walk from the gate, or the 25 buck, gee, I'm special, my pimped rice rocket ain't got no ground clearance,...

Okay, I've been up since 0430 this morning... guess 'old age' has set in. After hacking up a couple of furballs, scraping my chin, brushing my tooth... okay all 18 still left, went downstairs, brewed a pot of mud, opened a fresh pack of cancer sticks, looked in on the grandsons, ate a couple of brownies.... then came back upstairs to my 'office' and fired up Maxine, my 'puter.... checked my e-mail, then logged on to the 'Mater.
