things I've learned in 72 hours

As you've found out from the lo-jac thread in the lounge, I have yet another joy in my life.
Ouch!!!!!
she just decided to climb into my lap, even with trimming her nails at lunchtime yesterday, she can still climb my jeans to get in my lap... she's also decided she likes chewing on my foo-man-chew. Right now it's heavy on the chew.
I was going to call her 'ginna, but, ahhh, she won't answer to that wonderful name. Kathy and Mouse want to call her Kara Jean, which was my first grandchild's name... I had thought of that, but me and k'dubs both have mixed feelings about it. Typing this, thinking about my little angel, I just asked them both, Kara Jean, and kitten... they both said Angel.
Angel just closed her eyes and is purring as she starts another nap. I don't understand how she can find something boney as my hipbone comfortable to sleep on.
The grandsons well be back tomorrow from visiting their dad. The house has been very quiet the last week, and the 'trash generation' fell from two bags a day to one and a half for the whole week. I missed them... but I think I'm going to miss the quiet when they get back.
as a side note, anyone who took the opening post in the lo-jac thread... ahh, wrong, all I can say is that you have a dirty mind... and I like that in a person...

I think Angel is perfect.
Of course, I will have to tell everyone I mentioned this to that I have been outed in the name game, but it's cool. I always thought they should pick their own names & let you know what they like! |
