I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Holidays those who celebrate in their own way. Yesterday I attended the Funny Car Nationals at Knoll-Gas Motorsports Park at 131 Martin, Michigan. It was more like a trip back in time. They had front engine diggers, Nostalgia Funny Cars, Supercharged nutso Hot Rods from Heck, and a ton of good old fashioned drag racers. I took my three girls, ages 10, 8, and 6. I was going to wait two months to post another blog, but what the heck. In my last entry I mentioned how much I spent on stuff at Indy. Let me say that while some of it was shirts and hats, but included in that figure was a pair of Oakley Hijinx I purchased from Donnie Faulkner at the Rolling O store. I am still deciding if this blog should be about my life, my daily comings and goings, or just about Drag Racing. I first would like to thank Shannon for enabling us to keep a blog here at Nitromater.

For me the drag racing high that was Indy is still with me. Today I am wearing a shirt I bought at the Nitro Mall. In fact, I spent over $500 on shirts and stuff at the race. I get a bit giddy...
