Yesterday we lost a member of the drag racing family. I say family because in all my dealings with people in this sport, I have been treated with such kindness and friendship. A few weeks ago I took my three girls to the Joliet race. We walked the pits and where ever we went, we were greeted with open arms and smiles. The feeling of family was there.
