Gray’s new Stratus is tested and ready to go
j_gray
INDIANAPOLIS, Prerace: Pro Stock rising star, Johnny Gray has a fresh outlook going into the biggest race of the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing season, this weekend’s

54th annual Mac Tools U.S. Nationals at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis. Gray will be looking for improved performance as he takes on the tough competition with his new Rick Jones (R.J.) Dodge Stratus.

Gray had high hopes starting out the 2008 season, but has not been happy with his car’s performance. It’s been a year of highs and lows; the highs being his two semifinal appearances, and the lows being the six DNQ’s. burgess_666085
INDIANAPOLIS - Roger Burgess arrived at his Atlanta, Ga., residence on Monday at 2 AM following a vacation trip around the world.

"Without a doubt," Burgess confirmed. "If you're a drag racer that has visions of grandeur, then you want to win Indy. It's the Daytona 500 of drag ra cing. You can win any event and it's a great... [Read More]

Joe Baker

“I think our chances are very good between utilizing Roger’s equipment
and having Chuck Ford tuning,” Baker said.

(8/28/08) INDIANAPOLIS – What has proven to be a great season has gotten even better for Joe Baker.

The Milton, Fla.-based Pro Modified driver has been added to the line-up of the R2B2 Motors team owned by Roger Burgess where he will race for the balance of the 2008 season.

This adoption comes at the perfect time as the NHRA JEGS tour rolls into the most prestigious national event on the ten-race tour, the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis.
